Raising the support of various organizations.

Blaine, Min. – 3M Open officials today announced. the charity’s  1.5 million donations to the charity, with $ 1.5 million donated to local nonprofits, golf

to support individuals affected by COVID-19 and those fighting for social justice initiatives. The golf Fund will raise funds raised to select, Minnesota charities and highlight the ‘power of community’ throughout the event.

Greater Two and Cities United Way, VEP, Urban Ventures, Mine of St. Vincennes, Lake Street Council, Museum. including our volunteers and corporate partners, we have the opportunity to partner with local organizations to raise awareness of the 3M Open Fund, and to help others financially.” Mike Welch, director of the 3M Open Tournament.e 3M Open Fund is to further strengthen this community and this is a mission that our tournament staff takes seriously throughout the year, not just one week.”

The tournament will be held July 23-26 at TPC Twin Cities in Blaine, MP, and will be held without spectators due to current guidelines regarding Covid-19. But fans around the world will be able to play tournaments on golf channels and CBS throughout the week.

“Despite not having a fan presence, golf will remain as a platform to give back and build a more relaxed population,” said Dennis Rutherford, senior vice president of 3M Open and president of the golf Fund.
