The former league MVP announced Monday that a positive coronavirus test had forced him into quarantine, but that was before Houston arrived in Orlando. Westbrook is the highest-profile NBA athlete to announce that he has been infected with the virus.

“Before my teams left for Orlando, I tested positive for the Covid-19,” Westbrook said in a statement on Twitter. I am home quarantined .i can’t do with the game until I don’t have a corona negative. Thanks to everyone for your support and best wishes to the fans. Please take this virus seriously.
