Christmas is the marquee day on the NBA’s regular-season schedule, however, it’s particularly necessary for the 2020-21 season. With the season tipping off on Dec. 22, two months later than ordinary, Christmas will function as a kind of opening ceremony for the season, and as such, the league has loaded the vacation with a few of its greatest matchups. The league’s total schedule has not but been launched. The schedule for the primary half of the season is anticipated to be introduced shortly, however, the second half should wait in case the NBA wants to depart some additional time to make up video games missed due to COVID-19. A separate slate of marquee video games is anticipated for opening night time on Dec. 22, and a month later, on Martin Luther King Jr. Day (Jan. 19), the league sometimes affords a full day of video games with a number of significant matchups.
