President Wang Changping highlighted FNU's academic disciplines and international initiatives. He commended UTAR's achievements in educational internationalization and viewed the newly signed memorandum of cooperation as a significant step forward in fostering exchange and collaboration between the two institutions. He expressed hope that the visit would advance communication, explore innovative models for higher education internationalization, and deepen partnerships in academic research, cultural exchanges, and faculty and student interactions. These efforts, he believed, would create a broader platform for academic dialogue and enhance cross-cultural understanding, ultimately contributing to the cultivation of globally-oriented talent.
Tan Sri Chen Zu Pai provided an overview of UTAR's history and development, expressing admiration for China's swift progress and Fujian Normal University's centennial achievements.
